The PowerPlay website is owned and operated by PowerPlay IE Pty Ltd trading as PowerPlay Karting & Games.
Terms used on the website: “PowerPlay” “we”, “our”, and “us” means PowerPlay IE Pty Ltd trading as PowerPlay Karting & Games ABN 61 672 298 074. “You” and “your” refer to the individual whose information we collect and hold for our purposes. We do not disclose your information to third parties.
By accessing, browsing or using this website, you agree to the terms, conditions and disclaimers herein as amended when required. By purchasing a service advertised on this website and/or by completing the registration process of PowerPlay, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
PowerPlay may amend these Terms and Conditions when required and any amendment will become effective immediately. Your continued use of this website after amendment constitutes an agreement to abide by and be bound by those Terms and Conditions, as amended.
BOOKINGS – DEPOSIT – NON-REFUNDABLE
Bookings made in person, over the phone or via email may require a deposit. The deposit is non-refundable and designed to protect against No-Shows. PowerPlay is super popular and often fully booked so we don’t want anyone to miss out on the FUN when others can’t show up for a booking.
A one hundred dollar ($100) non-refundable deposit is required for individual bookings and a two hundred dollar ($200) deposit is required for Corporate / Group events.
Bookings may be held for a maximum of seven (7) days without a deposit while you confirm your exact numbers but please note the deposit must be paid no later than seventy two hours (72) hours prior to the booking date. If PowerPlay does not receive a deposit in the specified time the booking will be deemed to be cancelled.
No refunds will be given for a change of mind. This includes partial or full refunds.
BOOKINGS – ONLINE FEES
The purchasing of products and services may be subject to credit card and other fees. PowerPlay reserves the right to vary the amount of this transaction fee from time to time as specified in the booking / purchasing process.
BOOKINGS – ONLINE – NON-REFUNDABLE
Bookings purchased via this website are non-refundable and are not available for exchange, unless required by law.
No refunds will be given for a change of mind. This includes partial or full refunds.
BOOKINGS – TIME
Bookings are valid for the time and date of the booking and will expire once the booking date and time has lapsed. Your reservation will state your race time allocated for your booking.
You are required to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled race time to complete the check-in process. If you or any guests in your group are late, your racing time on track may be reduced and you may not have enough time to complete the activities purchased under your booking.
Due to the dynamics of racing your race start time can be delayed due to unforeseen technical issues. Every effort will be made to ensure your race starts on time but in the event that it is delayed we will ensure that your race time is not reduced.
BOOKINGS – MOVING DATES & TIMES
To change the date or time of your booking PowerPlay must be notified in writing by email to email.
Each booking may be moved once and this needs to be confirmed no later than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the scheduled time of the booking.
BOOKINGS – CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS & BALACLAVAS
Balaclavas are required to be worn by all racers at PowerPlay.
The only exception to this rule is if you provide your own Helmet – your helmet needs to be a full-face helmet and meet the relevant Australian standards. Balaclavas may be purchased at the venue and are yours to keep and re-use.
All racers must wear enclosed footwear. No high heels are permitted.
BOOKINGS – MINIMUM AGE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The minimum age to race at PowerPlay is 10 years of age. The minimum height is 140cm and the maximum weight limit is 120kg.
BOOKINGS – PROMOTIONAL OFFERS/DEALS
Promotional offers/deals are not available in conjunction with any other offer. To take advantage of a promotional offer, the correct PowerPlay Promo Code must be entered when booking online or quoted to staff when booking in-store or over the phone.
A promotional offer/deal cannot be applied retrospectively once a booking has been made.
COPYRIGHT
The copyright and intellectual property rights in all of the contents and material on this website belong to PowerPlay.
You may not copy nor reproduce any part of this website for commercial use or gain unless prior consent has been granted by PowerPlay.
Any photographs, videos or sound recordings taken by you at the premises must be for personal use only. Any use or production for commercial purposes without our express written consent is prohibited.
Your image may be taken at any time whilst at PowerPlay for security purposes or for use in marketing material. You authorise the use of your image for these purposes.
GIFT VOUCHER / EGIFT CARD
By purchasing or using a PowerPlay Gift Voucher / eGift Card you agree to be bound by all the PowerPlay terms and conditions.
PowerPlay Gift Vouchers / eGift Cards may only be purchased via this website, in-store or over the phone. There are no authorised 3rd party re-sellers.
Gift Vouchers / eGift Cards are valid for a period of 36 months/3 years from the purchase date. At this time any remaining unused balance will be forfeited.
No change will be given when using a Gift Voucher / eGift Card but any remaining balance may be applied to future transactions. If a purchase exceeds the available card balance, you must make up the difference with another payment method.
To redeem a Gift Voucher / eGift Card you will first need to phone PowerPlay to make a booking.
Lost, damaged or stolen Gift Vouchers / eGift Cards cannot be replaced. PowerPlay reserves the right to refuse any order placed for any vouchers or gift cards. PowerPlay reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions at any time without notice.
No refunds will be given for a change of mind. This includes partial or full refunds. Gift Vouchers / eGift Cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be re-sold.
GROUP BOOKING – 8 OR MORE PEOPLE
Group Bookings that are not one of the PowerPlay Corporate or Group Packages https://www.powerplayperth.com.au/corporate-events have until seventy-two (72) hours prior to the time of the booking to confirm the exact number of race participants and race sessions.
You will then be charged for the time (race sessions) and space (number of participants) that has been reserved for your group. In the event that you bring less people you will be charged for the number confirmed seventy-two (72) hours hours prior to your booking.
INDEMNITY AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY WAIVER
Each person participating in race sessions at PowerPlay must read and sign a liability waiver to participate. Any persons participating under the age of eighteen (18) must have a parent or guardian complete and sign the waiver on their behalf.
SEVERE WEATHER
PowerPlay is an indoor venue and operates in all weather conditions.
UNFORESEEN EVENT IE GOVERNMENT IMPOSED LOCKDOWN
In the event of unforeseen shutdown ie Government Lockdown or major technical failure at PowerPlay that impacts your booking you are free to move your booking or you will be entitled to a full refund.
RACES & PACKAGE DEALS
All individual races, special offers and package deals purchased must be used in one calendar day. You cannot carry over credits to another day. For example if you purchase a two (2) race package they must be used on the same day. Race credits will expire at the end of each day.
RACE SESSION DURATION
Each session lasts for approximately 20 minutes, this includes your safety briefing, safety checks and expert tuition from the Powerplay staff. You will spend about half your time on track - Adults get 18 Laps and Juniors 16 Laps unless you have booked a Group / Special package.
Please note that every effort is made to ensure every racer gets their laps but the maximum time limit for one race on track is 10 mins.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE OR REFUSE ENTRY
If you can’t play nice, respect the rules of PowerPlay and the direction of our staff we reserve the right to remove you from PowerPlay or refuse your entry into one of our venues. The same goes on the Track, if you can’t follow the direction of the PowerPlay staff and you continue to act in a manner that doesn’t respect our rules or the other racers on track you may find yourself back in the Pits before the race is over.
ZERO ALCOHOL TOLERANCE
ZERO TOLERANCE (0.00 BAC). Don’t drink and drive.
PowerPlay operates a strict alcohol and drug policy. If we have doubt as to a driver’s ability to drive, or believe that any driver may be under the influence of either alcohol or drugs, we will not permit that person to drive. Please note, that we will not refund or waive any fees paid or owing in the event that you are unable to participate because you are under the influence.
